• Full integration in our lab so when our installers arrive on-site, they are simply placing the equipment in its appropriate location.
• We run on common-off-the-shelf hardware to streamline support as much as possible and will work with you on your hardware preferences for servers.
• ControlOR is TCP/IP based so the need for an OR cabling re-vamp is not necessary. We simply require Cat 6 or 7 cabling, which results in tremendous cost savings when compared to a video-switched solution, that often requires specialized connectors and wiring that are difficult to route through booms or conduit.
• Banyan Medical Systems pro-actively monitors all components from our Network Operations Center and we try to resolve the problem before you know it exits.
• Management of our own router/firewall to ensure only the necessary traffic is passed to the enterprise network.
• Scalability. When surgical components are changed or added within the OR, Banyan simply configures ControlOR for the new interface — no new, expensive hardware accommodations as in the video switched model.
• ControlOR is easy to train and use because staff is simply accessing applications and devices they are already familiar with.
